Indian Institute of Management, IIM Indore decided for a tie with the state university of New Jersey, Rutgers for several exchange students collaboration and faculty exchange.

It also signed the MoU to develop the Joint and Dual Degree Programme. The Director of IIM Indore, Professor Himanshu Rai signed the MoU with the executive vice president of academic affairs at Rutgers University Prabhas v Moghe. Moreover, the MoU was also signed with the vice-president of Global Affairs Professor Eric Garfulkel.

IIM Indore professor said that this tie-up would help building the students and faculty exchange. He further said Rutgers University is one of the highest-ranked universities in America. So, the institute is delighted to sign this MoU with Rutgers.

This tie-up would help in collaboration for students exchange programme and develop joint degree programme. Faculty of respective universities would come together for collaborative researches. This MoU between both the Universities is valid for 5 years.

NEW MANAGEMENT AREAS OF RUTGERS AND IIM INDORE

In these 5 years, the university would exchange best academic practices. Moreover, Indian Institute of Management, Indore and Rutgers University would develop new areas of management.

The Director of Indian Institute of Management, Indore also welcomed the Provost and Executive Vice-Chancellor of the University Ashwani Monga on the International Board of Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The board has many other academic leaders across the globe.

The vice-president of Rutgers University said that both the institutions would corporate with each other while conducting various joint programmes and Ph.Ds. They will also commercialize the technologies of both the institutions so that they can get mutual benefits. Students will get benefits from the tie-up as well.
