The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has recently turned on the window on its official site for the online submission of projects and assignments. The link is available on the official website of IGNOU for the submissions of projects.
To make sure that the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic does not affect the academic calendar, IGNOU has begun to accept the submission of projects and assignments for the internal assessment online. Prior to the pandemic, the students use to submit their assignments and projects in hard copy.
IGNOU has opted for an online method for the submission of assignments and projects for the June term and exams. The final date for the submission of projects and assignments have been extended till June 15.
As per the official notice by IGNOU, the University has advised students to make sure that the proposed proforma is duly ratified in the initial along with the summary and the memoir data of the assignment is the essence certificate is duly signed by the student as well as the assignment mentor along with a date to be integrated.

Step 2: Click on the Link “Online Project Upload” under the alert
Step 3: Click on Click here to upload the project option
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox
Step 5: Upload the document and click on submit
As per the rules if the assignment does not matches the criteria or does not matches the requirements, it will be sent back to the student. The student will be compelled to resubmit the project after making the amendments.
The students are instructed to attain digital authorization in the prescribed manner of the mentor or administrator through e-mail. The digital authorization should be attained before submission if the assignment.
Meanwhile, IGNOU has begun the admission process at its official website for the July enrollment cycle. The admissions are open for non-regular courses for a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, PG diploma, certificate courses, diploma courses, and all other courses. As per the recent notice issued by the University, the last date to apply for these courses is July 31.
For those students whose results are yet to be announced an also enroll for the admission in IGNOU. Regardless, the students will be given provisional admissions and will be compelled to provide an undertaking along with the enrollment form according to the University’s rules.
Students willing to take admission in IGNOU are required to generate their user ID and password for logging themselves into the network and upload online the requisite documents along with the filled up admission form. Students are not required to send the original copy of the admission form to the IGNOU office. After submitting the admission form the students can check the status of their admission. Once the admission gets confirmed, the student will receive an SMS and e-mail registered on the portal.
