Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has started the registration process for online programs for foreign students for applying in courses in UG, PG, and others. In this case, all foreign students residing in India can register through the official website ignou.ac.in. Foreign aspirants should note that they can take admission in different 16 online courses performed by IGNOU.
Master of Arts in Gandhi and Peace Studies, Certificate in Arabic Language, Bachelor of Library and Information Science, Master of Arts Translation Studies Bachelor of Tourism, Certificate in Russian Language, Certificate Program in Library and Information Science, Post Graduate Certificate in Agriculture Policy Diploma in Tourism Studies, Diploma in Tourism Studies, Certificate In Tribal Studies.
The documents that you need are a Scanned photo (less than 100 KB), a Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB), a Scanned copy of age proof (less than 200 KB), a Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB), Passport / Visa / Studies Visa, Citizenship Card / Proof of Nationality, Proof of stay in India (if applicable), and OCI / PIO / UNHCR Refugee Card.
IGNOU: HOW TO REGISTER FOR ADMISSION IN VARIOUS COURSES
You need to visit the IGNOU official website ignou.ac.in for online admission in various courses. After this, click on the link on the homepage which reads “Click on the link for online program admission for foreign students (FSRI and NRI). After this, a new page will open. Now click on the ‘New Registration’ tab. After this, register by entering the required details like name, address, contact number, educational qualification, etc.
After this click on submit button. The credentials will then be sent to the registered email address. Unwrap the login page again and infiltrate your user ID and password. After that fill the application form with valid details. After this, pay the application fee with the help of a credit or debit card. Then click on the submit button. After this, download a sample of the duly filled application form and keep a hard copy of the similar for future use.
