The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has stretched out the last date to submit the project reports, assignments, fieldwork journals, internships, and dissertation till January 31, 2021, for the December term-end examinations 2020 (TEE). Candidates selected for the December TEE can present their assignments till the end of this current month in physical and online mode at the individual study centers.
An IGNOU statement reads that Submission of Assignments for the TEE, December 2020- both online and physical mode is extended up to January 31, 2021.
The statement further mentioned that submission of the project reports, assignments, fieldwork journals, internships, and dissertation for the TEE December 2020- both for physical submission and online submission extended up to January 31, 2021.
However, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and lockdown announced and its associated social distancing measures, IGNOU has been following FM radio, social media, and television channels like Gyan Darshan and Gyan Vani to give support services to the candidates. The university is also administering online classes separated from delivering self-learning material in printed, multimedia material, and digital forms, and offering an online certificate program.
On Friday, January 15, the university has agreed to extend the last date of re-registration for the IGNOU January session till 31 January. Interested candidates can enroll for the January session online at the ‘Samarth’ platform. Only students studying for UG, PG, semester-based courses of 3 or 3-year duration are applicable. Candidates for the online courses can register at the official website of IGNOU- ignou.samarth.edu.in
