Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has declared the admission schedule for the Post Basic B.Sc nursing course. As per the schedule published by IGNOU, admissions to the Nursing Program for the batch commencing from January 2022 will be made with the help of an entrance test.
Interested students can apply for the entrance test on the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in. This entrance exam will be conducted on May 8, 2022, at several centers across the country.

IGNOU ADMISSION APPLICATION TILL 17 APRIL
The online application process for the entrance exam of IGNOU has now begun on the official website of IGNOU. Students need to fill out the online application form by April 17. While filling out the online application, nominees can choose their exam center on a first come first serve basis.
After tiring the seating capacity of the examination center in the respective city, other convenient city examination centers will be allotted.
ELIGIBILITY FOR IGNOU POST BASIC B.Sc NURSING COURSE
For IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam, nominees have to pay Rs 1000 as an application fee. Interested nominees should have a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience in the profession after a training of Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) or students should have a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum five years experience in the profession after RNRM.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR IGNOU ADMISSION:
Step1: First go to the official IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in.
Step2: Now, on the home page, click on the link Registration for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) Entrance Exam-January 2022 Session.
Step3: Here a new page will open for registration.
Step4: Click on the registration link and register or login on to the login page that unlocks.
Step5: Fill in all the required personal details and educational qualifications.
Step6: Now, students need to upload the scanned required documents and click on the Next button.
Step7: After the final submission of the online application form, download the filled application form.
Students are advised to take a printout and attach a hard copy/photocopy of all documents and certificates for future use. It is noteworthy that all the documents have to be submitted during counseling, so keep them safe.
