The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the dates for Chartered Accountants (CA) exam planned to be held from January. As per the ICAI, the exam will begin on January 21 in all cities where exams are presently planned for the November examination.

Moreover, the notification mentioned that the details relevant to the admit card and exam schedule will be conveyed soon after the last date of the opt-out procedure.

Approximately 4,71,619 candidates will be appearing for the CA exam starting from November 21 at 1,085 exam centers.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India declares that the maximum number of candidates appearing on any given day will be around 1,52,000 candidates and the average comes to 147 candidates per examination center.

Meanwhile, the official notice read that ICAI has changed to more than 30 examination centers during CA exam days. According to ICAI, an average of 147 candidates will appear per examination center.

No new admit card will be issued for students whose examination centers have been changed. Such students should note that the admit cards already issued for the November 2020 examination will also be valid for the new location. All other information remains unchanged.

To confirm the safety of the students, ICAI has also provided the option of opt-out. This opportunity can also be obtained during the examination when a student starts showing symptoms of the virus or someone in their family has contracted COVID or the area where the candidate lives are converted into a contaminated area.
