Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, CA students have urged for the postponement of the ICAI CA examinations. The Institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI) is ready to administer the CA exams in offline mode for the November session. On Tuesday, students on social media started expressing their unwillingness to appear for upcoming offline examinations, bringing up health and safety concerns.

Previously, the Institute of Charted Accountants of India expanded the number of exam centers to stimulate social distancing. Students however have criticized the decision and asserted that offline exams comprise huge health risks.

A CA student on twitter tweeted requesting ICAI CA to kindly address the concerns of the students about the November session exams. Many people are suffering due to coronavirus including the ICAI CA students. Furthermore, the tweet requested to postponed ghe upcoming exams for another one month and consider the lives of ICAI CA students and their guardians and families.

ICAI DECREASED FEES FOR OC AND ITT COURSES

Citing Alakh’s work and support to JEE NEET aspirants the previous months, Advocate Alakh has forwarded the students’ request to the minister. He wrote that sir at the time of JEE NEET you said that aspirants should have reached you earlier so you would have been able to stop the exams. So here we are requesting you to consider the case.

Another student tweeted that do not postpone upcoming exams but the government in return can provide them security and safety. It includes that they have signed up for decent management. It requested not to postpone the exam but not play with students’ lives. Students have also appealed to Subramanian Swamy to help them in the matter. The exams are scheduled to take place in November.
