Delhi University has commenced it’s online open-book exams from 10th August 2020. The exams are being conducted for final year regular, NCWEB, and SOL students. The OBE exams start at 7:30 am and are being conducted in three shifts. However, the students have been offered options for submission of their OBE answer scripts.
Some students complained about problems in uploading their answer scripts on the portal while many were left in doubts after submitting through email. The students who used the mail facility are in doubt yet afraid that whether their answer scripts have been received by the Univerity or not. The portal usually stops functioning in the last hour of the exam leaving students with no other option except email. The University assured the students to send confirmation mail on submission of their answer scripts via mail. However, students who used the email facility have not received any confirmation from the University.

How to Upload OBE Answer Scripts on Portal
The Delhi University has enabled an online portal for the submission of answer scripts. The students are required to scan the written pages of the answers question-wise as one file and upload the same question-wise after completion of the examination. Students can upload a single file for every question or can upload multiple files for each question. The students have been provided with a feature to upload multiple files for every question.

Instead of uploading the files at the end of the exams when the pressure and traffic are at its peak on the portal, the student should upload pictures one by one as soon as they finish writing a question.
The students can assign this task to their siblings or their friends to scan their answer scripts as soon as they finish writing an answer and upload it hand in hand. This will help them reduce the last-minute pressure of uploading the scripts.
Hacks for saving the time during OBE
To save their time and efforts during the OBE when the pressure is at its peak, students can make some preparations beforehand. Students can write the basic information that has to be written on every page of the answer sheets beforehand. The students can write all the required details in advance a night before the exam on all the sheets that will be required for appearing for their exams. This will help them save their time and efforts from scribbling on the sheets for writing the basic details. So that students will be able to concentrate more on their OBE.

No confirmation on sending answer scripts via Email
Students faced many problems in uploading the answer scripts on the portal during the last hour of the exam. The teachers said that students should not get worried while opting for the email facility. The professors of Delhi University said that the submissions of answer scripts made by the students through emails will certainly be considered. However, students must adhere to the timings granted by the University to avoid any future problems. All the answer scripts sent via mail will, therefore, be evaluated by the University professors.
