Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is organizing the National Economics Olympiad (NEO). Thus, it is a school-level economics olympiad. Students of classes 11 and 12 can apply now. All the participants will get a certificate each. Also, the top three participants from each class will get a cumulative cash scholarship worth Rs. 65,000. Why should students participate in the national economics olympiad by SRCC?
The Economics Society of SRCC will carry out NEO and has seen massive growth since its inception in the 1970s. Also, the society has hosted eminent speakers such as Punit Renjen, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Lord Meghnad Desai, and many others.
The National Economics Olympiad provides a platform for students nationwide. Hence, participating students can test their knowledge along with practical inputs. Also, the exam is designed in such a way so that the students get maximized help. It will help all the participating students prepare for their future exams.
As for the National Economics Olympiads 2020, 6000+ participated from over 1200 schools and over 400 cities.

How to prepare for the National Economics Olympiad 2021?
As for the preliminary round, four sections are divided. Thus, it includes economic concepts, case studies, logical reasoning, and data interpretation. Also, 10 questions will be asked from each section. Each question will account for one mark with no negative marking. A sample question booklet will be given to each participant.

How to Apply?
The deadline for application is October 15. Both the rounds of NEO will be held online on 17th October and 24th October respectively. Also, a registration fee of Rs. 200 will be applied.
