HOW TO CHOOSE A COURSE AND COLLEGE
Once you have identified your interest, you must give due importance to the course in which you want to take admission. For example, if you have an interest in physics then you should go for BSc (Hons) Physics course. For this shortlist all the DU colleges that offer your preferred course. However, while selecting a college, make sure that the college furnishes all the facilities to grow as a whole.
Things you can check before selecting colleges are the experience of professors, placement records, training and internship opportunities, club activities, etc.
Sometimes, students are lucky to find a college with the best placement record. Students should also select a college that has experienced academic staff or that facilitates personality or technical training sessions/workshops or offers membership or admission to clubs with some international or national reach.
The most important suggestion is to settle on one or two components but not all. If all the required components are being settled then go for a course that is similar to your interest and is being offered by any other DU college in which you are getting admission.
For example, a student can choose BSc (Hons) Physics which offers subjects like Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Thus, prioritize the syllabus and then list the components of different colleges that you cannot compromise on and then take your final decision.
