DU second cut-off list

According to the latest reports, Delhi University is going to release the first cut-off list for DU admission 2021 on 1st October. For maximum undergraduate courses, the admission is based on class 12th merit. For admission process, Delhi University takes the best of four into consideration. This criterion for DU admission 2021 is known as the best of four formulae.

In this formula, score of one language subject and three best academic subjects are included. Moreover, it must include the subject in which students are going to take their admission. For example, if a student wants to take admission in BA Honors, he has to consider that particular subject in which he is taking specialization. If they have not studied that subject in their class 12th and they belong to some other stream, DU will deduct 5 percentage from their actual percentage and then consider their scores.

DU ADMISSION IN HONORS COURSES

For other honors courses, one language subject and other three subjects are compulsory in the best of four. However, for DU admission 2021, the varsity would deduct 2.5 percent from the actual percentage of students who do not include relevant subjects in the list.

DU ADMISSION IN BA HONORS PSYCHOLOGY AND APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY

For BA Honors Psychology and Psychology, students must have has psychology as a subject their class 12th. Similarly, For BA Economics Honors, they must have cleared Math. For DU admission, if any student includes any course which are not listed by the varsity, their marks are deducted. If more than one course from non-listed subjects are included in the best four, DU deducts 2.5 percent.

ADMISSION IN VOCATIONAL COURSES

For vocational subjects, students must include one language, math and two vocational related subjects. Students will get 2 percent advantage if they include one vocational course. If they have studied any vocational related subject, they will get a benefit of 1 percent.

ADMISSION IN B. COM HONORS AND B. COM PROGRAMME

For B.Com programme and B.Com Honors, students must include one language subject and other three subjects. The subjects must be Mathematics, Business math, Accountancy, Economics, Commerce or Business Studies. If any students include subjects other than these, Delhi University will deduct 2.5 percent from the actual percentage.
