Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, lockdown is announced to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. A complete lockdown results in the shutoff of the Delhi metro. Delhi Metro Corporation takes this step due to the spread of this pandemic.
However, as the lockdown is going to end on May 3 the transporter is planning to restart metro services with proper guidelines.
The thermal checkpoints to test for temperature and symptoms will be set up by the Delhi Metro Corporation. Anyone having symptoms will not be allowed to travel on the metro.
Face mask for every travel is a must. Even having no symptoms if a traveler didn’t wear mask ride is not available for him/her. Mask is compulsory to everyone in order to not only protect their lives but of the people around them too. Mask prevents infection transmission from one person to another.
Aarogya Setu is a COVID-19 mobile tracking application. This app will help to determine the risk if one had been near a COVID-19 infected within 6 feet distance. This app tracks the person across the country. This app has an e-Pass feature that is color-coded based on his much risky a zone is. People from low-risk areas will only be allowed on.
The social distancing measures will be maintained properly especially on the security check-up points. All the security faculty well wear protective clothing like masks, gloves.
