This year India is celebrating its 75th Independence day. Every Institute adopts a different and creative way to honor our freedom fighters. From Tricolor hoisting ceremonies to organizing various activities on this auspicious day.
So, on this 75th Independence day, two different and amazing things have happened.
- Firstly, the flower petals were showered by two Mi-1V helicopters after our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi hoisting the National flag at Red Fort.
- Secondly, to celebrate this monumental occasion, the government of India initiates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12th March 2021 as a countdown for our 75th Independence day. Under this campaign, all educational institutes of India have organized different events and activities.

Delhi University has seen uniquely celebrating this day. At the central library of Delhi University, the Amrit Mahotsav Book Exhibition is organized with the theme of India’s Freedom Struggle.
IGNOU FLAG HOISTING ON INDEPENDENCE DAY
On the other hand, Prof. Nageshwar Rao, the vice-chancellor of the Indira Gandhi Open University hoisted the flag and celebrated Independence Day on the Delhi campus.
HOW DO OTHER SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENTS CELEBRATE THIS DAY
Social Media is full of flag hoisting pictures and celebrations by various School Education departments such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and other universities and schools. So, they all celebrated this occasion at their campus by hoisting the national flag.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION IN JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA UNIVERSITY
On the other hand, JMI, the central University hoisted the national flag, headed by releasing many tricolor balloons and National Anthem. JMI also gave a push to Fit India Freedom Run Race 2.0.
