On Monday, the Hindu College of Management will be organizing a seminar at the national level on the National Education policy. The seminar will be attended by several noted academicians.
The seminar on NEP will be a joint initiative of Niti Ayog, Hindu college of Management, and Bhartiya Shiksha Mandal. Dr. S.V. Ramana, principal of Hindu college Management, while speaking to the media, said that the theme for the seminar would be:
the role of the teachers in the new education policy, awareness, orientation, and challenges.
He further shared that State Higher Education Council chairman Hemachandra Reddy, school education commissioner Vadrevu China Veerabhadrudu and Meena Chandravarkar, one of the key designers of the NEP, would address the session.
SVS Lakshminarayan, Hindu College Vice-President said that several experienced educationists and IAS officers will also be taking part in the session and will be sharing their experiences. Initiated by PM Narendra Modi, he said, the National Education Policy will pave the way and an opportunity for the youth to explore more subjects. He also said that teachers would be playing a major role in making the NEP successful by creating awareness among both teachers’ and students’ communities.
