Delhi University affiliate Hindu College took a major step by aiding needy students in paying their annual fees. Hence, the Hindu Colleges Old Students’ Association (OSA) took the responsibility of providing financial aids and helping the students with their annual college fees.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic depression, this decision of the OSA is highly appreciated.
Pandemic Grant Scheme of the Hindu College OSA:
The Pandemic Grant Scheme is specifically devised for the financially weak students and face problems in fees payment. Hence, all the students whose family annual income is under rupees 5 lakh per annum are considered in the Hindu College OSA’s aid distribution drive.
Therefore, these economically weak students will receive one-time grant aid up to Rs 20,000 to cover their annual college fees. The Old Student’s Association (OSA) had received a lot of responses requesting such aids. The Pandemic Grants Scheme of the Hindu College OSA has given a grant to 35 students in its first batch. Hence, a total of Rs 6,16,196 was distributed.
