High DU cutoffs have bothered all the DU aspirants. Thus, it is not shocking that Bihar students are also concerned about high DU cutoffs. Hence, even after scoring more than 95 percent in class 12 board exam results, students from Bihar are worried.
High DU cutoffs due to sky soaring board results:
Students aspiring to study in reputed higher educational institutions in top cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc are tensed. Thus, the cut-throat cutoff is making it a herculean task to make into good institutions. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the CBSE and other boards have evaluated the marks based on internal assessments. Thus, they have bestowed higher marks than any of the previous years. As a result of these record-breaking marks, high DU cutoffs are inevitable.
In 2020, the cut-offs of good Delhi University colleges went up to 100 percent. Hence, this year too, the cut-offs will be high enough. Thus, this is making the children all over Bihar panic over cutoffs.
Here is what Bihar students say about high DU cutoffs for 2021:
Navya Ojha is a DU aspirant who passed her Board exams in 2021 and scored 98.4 percent. She is from the arts course and wants to take admission in a reputed DU college. She highlights that the cutoffs for St. Stephens College, DU were as high as 99.5 percent. Also, it is expected that the Hindu college will release higher cutoffs than this. Thus, the girl is skeptical and tensed about her admissions into such elite DU colleges.
Saumya, a student from Patna secured 96.8 percent and wants to take admissions to the BCom program at SRCC. But, she highlights that approximately 70,000 CBSE students have secured above 95. So, admissions are getting difficult.
DUET 2021 ADMIT CARD IS EXPECTED TO BE OUT SOON
