The Delhi High Court has requested Delhi University to put on record its approach, assuming any, on the maintenance of answer contents of students.
Single Judge Bench of Justice Prathiba M Singh passed this order in the petition desired by the DU students this year against the OBE or online open-book examination.
Prior this year, while giving its gesture to DU’s choice to hold online OBE, the Court had left the legitimate issues of security of information and storing of information open for adjudication.
On Monday, to adjudicate these legal issues, the court instructed Delhi University to put on record its agreement with the cloud service provider for the online open-book examination.
However, the cloud service provider was committed to storing information about the whole examination procedure, such as answer papers, etc.
Moreover, Delhi University will likewise put on record, its arrangement, assuming any, regarding the maintenance of answer contents both in physical and electronic structures, before the following date of hearing.
The Court additionally took on record DU’s oath on different activities taken by its Grievance Redressal Officer regarding the complaints which were raised by the students.
