The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) will not announce the Haryana Board Class 10th results on Monday. In a press note broadcasted on Sunday evening, the board said that the results of the Class 10 examinations in the state, which prevailed to be announced on June 8, have been postponed.

Haryana Board Chairman Jagbir Singh had first notified that BSEH will announce the Class 10 results on Monday, June 8.

Instructing about the decision to not announce the Haryana board Class 10 results on Monday, Board chairman Jagbir Singh and BSEH secretary Rajiv Prasad announced that in accordance with the way of the Haryana education department, the class 10 results will now be announced after the conduct an examination of science paper. They further said that upholding the science paper of Class 10 examinations is mandatory for students who opt for the stream in Class 11 for the following studies.

“We will declare openly results after students opting for medical and non-medical stream in Class 11 look like for their pending science exam. Supplementary students’ results will be examined on the purpose of ordinary marks scored by them in the four exams that they had seemed for,” the board chairman said.

The Haryana Board had postponed the class 10 and 12 examinations on March 19 in the track of the coronavirus disease eruption. Nearly 7.41 lakh students have enrolled for class 10 and 12 board exams in Haryana.

The class 10 students have seemed for English, mathematics, social sciences, and Hindi exams while science and an elective exam of physical education/ Sanskrit/ fine arts/ music, etc, are nonetheless pending.
