GATE 2022 Result: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE result for this year will be released tomorrow, 17 March. The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur, the administering body of GATE 2022, will declare the results. Therefore, candidates who have given the examination can check it on the official website i.e., gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
Earlier, on 21 February, IIT Kharagpur announced the GATE 2022 answer keys. Accordingly, candidates were permitted to challenge the answer keys. So, tomorrow the results will be declared after the reevaluation of the answer keys. Further, the recruitment-cum-admission test for engineering graduates was conducted between 5 February and 13 February 2022.

- Log in using your credentials (Enrollment ID and Password, alternatively Email ID and Password).
- Now, submit and you will have access to the GATE 2022 result. From here, you can download it for further reference.

GATE 2022 Result: Know How to Calculate The Score
Check the following steps to know how to calculate the GATE score using the GATE answer key.
Here is the simple formula, to calculate it:
GATE score = Total marks for correct answer – Negative marks for incorrect answer
Note: In GATE 2022, there is a negative marking for only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). MCQ consists of both one and two marks questions. Accordingly, one-third of marks will be deducted in one marks question. And, two-thirds of the marks will deduct into two marks questions. However, no deduction of marks for incorrect response in Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
