The announcement date of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2022 answer key has been released. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur declares that the answer key is to release on 21 February 2022. Further, candidates’ response sheets will available by 15 February on the official website. 

After the release of the answer key, candidates can raise objections. The time to raise objections is between 22 February to 25 February. Moreover, the GATE result will be out on 17 March 2022. Accordingly, the scorecards will available on the website on 21 March. So, candidates can check gate.iitkgp.ac.in to know their results and scorecards.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD GATE 2022 ANSWER KEY

  • Head to the GATE website i.e., gate.iitkgp.ac.in, or click here.
  • Now, log in through the enrollment ID and password. An alternate option to log in is with an email ID and password.
  • After login, click on the tab that reads ‘View Answer Key’.
  • Thereafter, the GATE 2022 answer will display on the screen in PDF format. Download it.

Further, the total marking of the GATE question paper is 100. In which, General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers of 15 marks. However, the rest of the paper includes the respective syllabus and covers 85 marks.

According to the GATE 2202 exam pattern, the question paper is of objective type. It comprises three patterns of questions that include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NATs) questions. Further, there is a negative marking for every wrong answer in MCQs. Whereas, no deduction of marks on wrong answers for MCQs and NATs.

Besides, GATE 2022 first and second days of exams were conducted on 5 and 6 February. And, it will continue till 13 February 2022. Along with this, IIT Kharagpur is conducting the recruitment-cum-admission test for engineering graduates. It has been conducted in two slots. The first slot is from 9 AM to 12 noon and the second slot is from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM for different papers.
