IIT Bombay has released the result of the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE 2021) for the exam conducted on 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th February. The result for GATE 2021 is available on the official portal of GOAPS. Out of the total 7,11,542 candidates who appeared for the GATE exam only 17.82% or 1,26,813 students have qualified for the GATE 2021 results.
Steps to download GATE 2021 Results
- First, visit the official website of GATE.
- Next click on the link which reads ‘GATE Results 2021’
- Now enter your credentials such as the student’s enrollment ID and password.
- Finally, the GATE exam result will be displayed on your screen.
- Download the GATE result and save it for future reference.
IIT JAM 2021 SCORECARD RELEASED | CHECK DETAILS
The scorecard will be made available on the website from 30th March to 31st May 2021 for free. After May 31st, students who wish to check or download their scorecard will be required to pay a fee of Rs. 500 to download it till 31st December 2021. Students check their results and download their scorecard from the official website of GATE between 30th March to 31st December 2021. The scorecard will be considered valid for the next three years.
As the GATE results are announced, qualified students can take admission in MTech courses across IITs, IISc, and other colleges. Furthermore, students can get entry for PSU jobs. Students will be required to clear the further rounds such as GD, interview, personality tests, etc for both PSU jobs and admission to colleges.

It was for the very first time this year that the students belonging to humanities backgrounds were also allowed to appear for the GATE exam. Out of the total candidates who appeared for the exam, over 14,196 candidates were from a humanities background. Also, this year two new courses were introduced to the exam I.e. XH (Humanities and Social Sciences) and ES (Environmental Science and Engineering) in English / Economics / Philosophy /Linguistics / Sociology/ Psychology. Not just this, the syllabus for the exam was also revised and the pattern for the paper was further changed. Multiple Select questions were added to numerical answer type questions and multiple-choice questions.
