Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay concluded GATE 2021 today. The institute conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in two shifts today.
GATE 2021 included a total of 27 papers and two papers were new in it. The new papers were Environmental Science and Engineering and Humanities and Social Sciences.

MEMBERS OF GATE 2021 COMMITTEE
IISc Banglore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Madras comprises of GATE 2021 committee. These institutions conducted B.Tech. exam on behalf of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.
TCS, SBI, and Netmagic solutions too helped in conducting the GATE entrance exam. More than 14000 students chose to appear for the new subjects. The entrance exam was conducted on 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th February. However, the authority took two days to prepare the examination centers.
9 LAKH STUDENTS GOT THEIR ADMIT CARD FOR GATE 2021
On the other hand, IIT Bombay on 6th February, issued a support letter for the students who appeared for GATE. The institute issued more than 9 lakh admit cards. Moreover, the authority covered 75 percent of overall attendance.

WHEN IIT BOMBAY CONDUCTED GATE 2021?
IIT Bombay conduct GATE in two shifts, I.e. from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. The institute will release the result on March 22 and it will be valid for the next three years. Moreover, the entrance exam was conducted because of all the COVID-19 norms along with isolation facilities for the students.

THE CHAIRMAN CONGRATULATED THE AUTHORITY FOR CONDUCTING GATE 2021
The authority conducted the GATE entrance exam in around 200 cities. The chairman and director of IIT Bombay congratulated all the candidates who came to appear for GATE despite the pandemic. He appreciated the hard work of the authority while conducting the entrance exam. He congratulated the committee for holding the national level exam in such a pandemic situation.
