Balrampur Gang Rape: On Wednesday, a 22-yr-old Dalit woman was allegedly gang-raped by 2 youths in Uttar Pradesh in a Balrampur village. The woman was cremated on Wednesday night once the post-mortem by a panel of four doctors was done.
Superintendent of police of Balrampur, Dev Ranjan Verma said the incident happened on Tuesday when the young lady had gone to take affirmation in a college close to her town yet didn’t get back till late evening. Later, the young lady returned with a glucose drip inserted in her hand on a rickshaw while her family members were looking for her.
Verma said the family members expressed that the young lady’s condition was bad so they surged her to a close-by the clinic and later to the Balrampur district hospital where she surrendered to her wounds.
The victim’s family has claimed that the young lady’s legs and hands were fractured. However, Police officials said no such injuries were verified in the post-mortem report.

The officials said the victim’s brother filed a complaint against the accused and they have been arrested after an FIR. The police official further added that 302 for murder and Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 376-D for gang rape have been slapped against the 2 criminals.
The SP stated that the case will be forward to a fast track court and the moral action will be taken against the blamed.
