After five DU cutoff lists already out, the aspirants are in a fix whether Delhi University will release further cutoff lists. DU will now have two more cut-off lists for admission to UG courses for the session 2020-21. According to the data by the varsity, 7,781 seats were filled till the second day of admission under the fifth cut-off. 70,000 seats in total are reserved at the UG level across courses and colleges. Now, the special DU cutoff lists will be out for admission to the seats left.
The application process for the special cut-off will commence from November 24 and will only continue till 1 pm on November 25. Concerned candidates will have to apply for the same within the deadline. The colleges will uphold the applicants chosen under a special DU cutoff list by 5 pm on November 26.
After which the admissions against the sixth cut-off will be done. This will last from November 30 to December 3, 5 pm. The final date to pay the fee will be December 4. If the seats are still left, the seventh cut-off list will come out. The admission will go from December 7 to December 9, for the further cutoff.
Under the special cut-off, only those applicants will be supposed who could not take admission under the first five cut-off lists. An applicant who has canceled his or her admission in the fifth cut-off will not be eligible to join in in the special cut-off, as per statutes. Further students who are already acknowledged under NCWEB will not be desirable for the special cut-off.
