The Round Table (TRT), the most acclaimed academic and interdisciplinary society of Kirori Mal College embellished its mark in the University of Delhi once again as it successfully organized the biggest two day extravaganza, its annual event ‘Intellosphere’18–Transformation and transition through the decades’ along with Kirori Mal College Model United Nations’18 on 2nd & 3rd February, 2018.

‘Intellosphere 2018’, one of the most buzzing events in the campus encompassed a variety of engaging activities. The event showcased a journey of the transition of India and the glimpses of the changes in all the spheres of the Indian society through the previous decades. Mohammad Hamid Ansari, the former Vice-President of India graced the occasion with his benign presence for an enriching interactive session with the students.

The flagship competition ‘Transingo – Debate, Dhanda, Dastur’ was a multifaceted competition which required the participants to use their intelligence, aptitude and determination to solve the hurdles and survive through the transitions of the time. The enthusiastic winners were awarded with the astonishing cash prize and exciting hampers. The event also constituted various spine-tingling events collectively called as ‘Gameland’ where students played intriguing games with fun and frolic.

The Youth Conclave was a monumental success as it witnessed a massive footfall across the two days with the renowned personalities as keynote speakers such as RJ Raunac, RJ Abhinav, Sejal Kumar, Team Sadak Chaap, Quick Reaction Team, Darsheel Safari and Sakshi Joshi. The students fervently rolled in for astounding interactive sessions with their beloved youth icons. The event concluded on the endorsing note with the mesmerizing performance by Yaman- A Fusion Band.

KMCMUN’18, one of the biggest conferences in Delhi, was a first of its kind avenue for students to come together and engage with each other on topics that concern the global community. It was a matter of towering pride as Hon’ble MP, Mr. Varun Gandhi presided as the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony. With over 200 delegates from across the country, KMCMUN’18 witnessed heated debates on “real” world issues. It was indeed a real life ‘Democracy’ on play.

The Round Table with vigor to continuously achieve its endeavor has raised its bar and is all set to perpetuate its boundless exuberance in the upcoming times.
