The University of Delhi issued Fresh Covid-19 guidelines considering the rising number of cases. These guidelines are formulated for the teaching and learning activities for all undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. The fresh covid-19 guidelines were drafted on Monday, 12th April 2021.
Hence, they will be abided in all the DU-affiliated colleges and departments. Also, all educational activities will continue online from now onwards.

The fresh covid-19 guidelines dismissed all offline activities in DU:
All offline activities that were permitted previously will now undergo online. The fresh covid-19 guidelines state that the research scholars and the final year students will be allowed inside the campus. However, they are supposed to strictly follow the prescribed SOP for covid-19 safety issued by the Indian government and the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).
Their academic work will continue with the consent of their respective supervisor or head of the department. Also, the final year students will be allowed entry into their respective colleges in small batches. Hence, they can visit their libraries, laboratories, practicals room, etc.
Here are the other important fresh covid-19 guidelines issued by DU:
The Delhi University staff section will work with 50 percent occupancy. Hence, there will be staggered work hours with 50 percent of staff working at the office and the remaining 50 percent from home. The staff living in the containment areas are guided to inform and apply for leave. Also, any staff unable to attend due to personal reasons will have to apply for a leave. However, no teacher is allowed to leave the station without permission. Mandatory services will continue without any restrictions. Also, necessary staff will be deployed for such purposes.
The fresh guidelines urge everyone to get vaccinated:
The guidelines urge all the eligible staff to get themselves vaccinated soon. Hence, this will be one of the precautionary measures. Also, all the guidelines have to be strictly followed at all times.
