FOUR YEAR UG PROGRAMME COULD RETURN TO DELHI UNIVERSITY IN 2021

The Four Year UG Programme (FYUP) is all set to be to be reintroduced in Delhi University seven years after being junked. Delhi University had enforced FYUP in the year 2013 when Vice-Chancellor was Prof. Dinesh Singh but the FYUP was junked a year later by Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani.

The Four Year UG Programme is ready to return as a part of the New Education Policy (NEP). Under the chairmanship of Prof. Vivek Suneja, a committee was formed to implement the NEP 2020 and to discuss the reintroduction of FYUP in Delhi University.

It includes granting a certificate upon completion of one year, a diploma in two years, and a degree on completion of course.
