A large number of students visit Delhi University’s North and South campuses for various tasks including mark sheets, degrees, character certificates. This not only causes problems for the students but also the staff on both campuses. DU will start four facilitation centers at South Extension, Roshanpura Najafgarh, Tahirpur, and Shahbad Dairy for the convenience of students and employees.
A senior DU official said that most of the work here is online, yet students have to come to the North and South campuses for some problem or the other. But soon with the opening of four facilitation centers, it will be very convenient.
It is to be known that all the facilitation centers are being built by DU on its land. this land of South Extension was donated by Pandit Madan Mohan Kaul. A DU official said that P-53 South Extension is a one-story building. This property was donated to Delhi University by Late Pandit Madan Mohan Kaul before 1970. It is built in about 200 yards.
There was a dispute over this land, but it has been resolved. If all goes well, the facilitation center will start functioning in the next few months. DU Engineering Department has started its preparations.
DU will also open a facilitation center at Roshanpura Najafgarh in outer Delhi. More than ten thousand DU students from outer, western, and southwestern districts will get a lot of convenience from this. If Haryana is involved then this number expands further.
After Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, the maximum number of students from Haryana apply to DU. University of Delhi has 16.35 acres of land in Roshanpura village. There is also a proposal to open a college here.
There is also a recommendation to open a college here. The Delhi University administration notified that the proposal of the college has been approved by the Building and Works Committee. The potential cost has also been decided.
Apart from this, DU will also open a facilitation center at Tahirpur in East Delhi. Shahbad Dairy has DU land, a facilitation center will be opened here too.

The facilitation center will provide great convenience to the students. Apart from the office for the employees, there will be much such work including submission of fees for online admission, document verification, correction of mistakes in the examination form, degree, migration, provisional degree, for which students have to visit DU several times.
