As per the varsity’s statement, these centers will assist students from rural and far-off areas. Hence, documents like mark sheets, migration certificates, and others will be provided at their nearby locations. Also, inquiry counters will be set up to guide students on the varsity’s matters.
Hence, a lot of time and energy of the students will be saved. Especially those students who had to travel to the North and South campuses of DU won’t have to travel much. Also, these centers are a part of DU’s new “University at your door” initiative.
In August 2021, the University of Delhi also announced to establish a new college and students facilitation center at Fatehpur Beri. Thus, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, the union education minister will lay the foundation stone of this new college soon.
Hence, this center will assist the DU students living around Bhatti Kalan Goan. These students can easily complete various administrative processes ranging from admissions to examinations easily. DU registrar Vikas Gupta had previously announced that the name of this new college will be after Sushma Swaraj. But, a final call is yet to be taken.
