On Thursday, Delhi University announced that it will be writing to the foreign universities on a case-by-case basis to allow students to be admitted provisionally. The University will be writing for those students who are waiting for their mark sheets after the open book exam conducted by the University.

Delhi University has made this a one-time provision, following the order of the Delhi High Court. Special requests will now have to be students who require their final results to get admission at foreign universities along with their program name, college and university they are applying, their examination roll number, and other details.

A letter will be sent by Dean (Examinations) to these foreign universities regarding the grant of provisional admission along with the expected date of publication of results.
