Its first placement phase was conducted by Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). SRCC witnessed continued participation from its esteemed recruiters despite the pandemic-induced slowdown. From September 2020- December 2020, the first placement phase was held.
The average compensation scaled up to INR 9.8 LPA at SRCC with over 130 offers from 24 recruiters. A global financial firm offered the highest package for the first phase, INR 25 LPA. All apprehensions regarding the hiring freeze were silenced by the number of offers that extended in the finance sector saw a 110% rise along with various other sectors witnessing a similar upward trend.
Fresh talents were handpicked from the college for multiple business domains by consulting firms like Bain Capability Network, McKinsey & Company, financial institutions like Citibank, Deutsche Bank, along with several first-time highest category recruiters including Accenture Strategy, Kepler Cannon.

The Convenor of the Placement cell of SRCC, Prof. Amanpreet Kaur, said that given the economic slowdown, they were extremely proud of having been able to continue strengthening their recruiter pool and thereby bringing an array of diverse opportunities for their candidates.
The Secretary of the placement cell of SRCC, Raghav Singodia said that while the pandemic posed a lot of challenges, they were proud of the fact that the Cell had grown tremendously during the period.
With the number of offers increasing by 142% and Pre-Placement offers soaring to an all-time high of 22 during the first phase, the summer internships at SRCC were yet another accomplishment.
