The teachers will be trained by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in experimental training through Diksha Platform.
Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD), tweeted while announcing the course that when the teachers will be equipped with the advanced 21st-century skills and it will become easier for children to absorb and learn the competencies.
In collaboration with Tata Trust, this course has been launched for both teachers and school leaders which includes principals as well. Educators have been urged by the HRD Minister to join the course and learn through it. He added to strive to make the learning processes for students more joyful, reflective, and multidisciplinary.
In a circular, CBSE said to all the teachers and school leaders associated with CBSE to enroll for the case and to take this course “mandatorily”. This app needs to be downloaded and then signed in by the teachers through their accounts. A certificate will be awarded on the completion of the same. regional webinars for the hub leaders or lead collaborators will also be conducted by the CBSE.
The central board said that it has been realized by the educationists all over the world that education has to take many leaps forward for a world where children are emotionally and physically resilient to face the challenges of a different world to come. Board added this while explaining the rationale behind it.
It further added that for this to happen, we need to create opportunities for children to learn the skills and competencies. Those that correspond to both livelihood and well-being.
CBSE has associated with TATA Trust to promote experiential learning pedagogy in schools, adn has developed an interactive course on ‘experiential learning’ fir teachers and school leaders, added the circular.
It also claimed that the course will play a vital role and will sensitize the educators to implement it in their classroom. It will make learning more reflective, Joyful, and multidisciplinary.
