Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has started its first Executive working professionals MBA degree course. The two-year degree course will be through Flipped classroom teaching in blended mode (mostly online). The classes will be planned on weekdays and weekends evenings. The course has been designed to give students the curriculum to build responsible leaders with an entrepreneurial viewpoint. It will involve interactions with staff from top national and international Business Schools, specialization, and CEO immersion program in all domains with priority on digital innovation.

IIM Sambalpur, Director, Mahadeo Jaiswal, said the program will help those having a powerful entrepreneurial mindset and power various Government of India initiatives such as Make in India and Start-up India. The entire range of the program will encompass emerging global trends, aligned with the government eco-system, international interface. It shall emphasize more on digital transformation and people management.

The prominent goal of the course is to encourage the students to formulate expertise that will encourage them to adapt to the ever-changing business environment and pertain to the concepts of business management. The course is designed to formulate the ability to integrate, diagnose and solve complex business problems, and innovative ideas across functional areas.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPLY FOR MBA DEGREE PROGRAM:

A student should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent, to be eligible for the course. Students must also have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification managerial or professional experience or entrepreneurial as of the last date of application. A valid CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/GRE marks (not more than 3 years old) will also be needed. Students not having valid test marks as above should apply for IIMSAT.
