University of Delhi has released the third special cutoff list for DU admission 2020 on 24 December 2020 and the admission schedule against it on the official website of the varsity i.e. du.ac.in
Students seeking DU admission 2020 can apply against the third special cutoff list between 28 December 2020 (10 a.m.) and 29 December 2020 (5 p.m.). 31 December 2020 is the last day for the payment of fees against the DU Third special cut-off list. As per the DU UG Merit-based admission schedule, the candidate can pay the fee by 31 December 2020.
A set of guidelines has also been released by the varsity along with the Third special cutoff schedule for the students specifying who will be eligible for the admission. Only those candidates who did not take admission earlier in any of the cutoff ( including Special cutoffs and the special drive) will be eligible for admission against third special cutoff schedule.
All those candidates who have enrolled in any other college affiliated to the University of Delhi including DU NCWEB or even all those who have cancelled the admission for whatsoever reasons, will not be eligible for the 3rd special cut-off admission admission cycle.
Those with higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination i.e. those with a higher aggregate of the best five subjects including one language subjects, will be given preference in admission if in case the number of applicants is more than the available seats. A merit list will be prepared by the colleges based on the best of four or best of three marks required for the course.
Five additional undergraduate category have also been added by the varsity on December in every affiliated college of the university as a COVID-19 relief. Under the ‘College-University seats’, the principals of the various colleges have been permitted to allow five seats, out of which two might be suggested by the varsity, under the current academic session fro DU UG merit-based courses.
