From the next academic session, the Indian Institute of Technology, IITs, and National Institute of Technology, NITs have decided to provide an engineering course for the students in mother tongue. The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal took held a review meeting at a high level. At that time the Education Ministry took this decision.
They took this decision to start technical education especially engineering courses. Students who be able to pursue this course in mother tongue from the next academic session. A senior official of the Education Ministry said that a few IITs and NITs are selected for the same.
NTA WILL COME UP WITH THE SYLLABUS OF COMPETITIVE EXAMS
During the meeting, they also decided that the National Testing Agency, NTA will review the scenario of the school education board. Moreover, it will come up with the syllabus for competitive exams.

Also, the University Grants Commission will now start a helpline for the scholarships and fellowships. Students can submit their grievances there. The Ministry of Education directed the UGC to disburse all the scholarships and fellowships on time.

The National Testing Agency announced that it will conduct the JEE Mains exam in nine regional languages except English and Hindi. The Agency shall commence the working of this decision from 2021.
On the other hand, IITs have not decided yet whether they will offer JEE Advanced exam in regional language.
