Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, the Union Education Minister will be conferred with the prestigious literary honor ‘the International Vatayan Summit Award’ on 21st November.
Apart from being Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal is a noble author and had published several books.
Nishank is a notable author and has published a number of books. The Minister is the recipient of several literary honors in the country and abroad in the past. The Vatayam Summit award will be just another notable award in the list of various national and international awards conferred by Ramesh Pokhriyal.
The prestigious Vatayan International awards are conferred at the Nehru Centre or House of Lords, London. However, this year the award ceremony will be held online.
The Minister will be presented with this award for his outstanding service to the literature on 21st November at the annual award ceremony of Vatayan.
The prestigious Vatayan International Awards given by the Vatayan UK organization situated in London honorable writers, poets, and artists for their honorable work in their respective fields. Earlier eminent personalities like Javed Akhtar, Prasoon Joshi have been conferred with this award for their literary contribution.
Dr. Pokhriyal is not just a politician but also an eminent writer. Apart from being the Minister, he has written more than 75 books that have been lately published in 10 more languages. These further include a collection of fiction and poetry.
The education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that such awards are significant towards the globalization of the Hindi language and he dedicates these awards to our mother tongue Hindi and India. He asserted that organizations that are working towards the development of literature deserve to be hailed. Manoj Muntashir, the famous poet will also be conferred along with Ramesh Pokhriyal with the International Literary Award at the ceremony.
