Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
The 60 posts are divided as follows:
- Group C, Level-4/Level-5: 5 posts
- Group C, Level-2/Level-3: 16 posts
- Group D, Level-1: 39 posts
Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific educational and age criteria based on the level of the post they apply for.
Educational Qualification:
- Level-4/Level-5:
- Must have passed Graduation or an equivalent examination from a recognized university or institution.
- Level-2/Level-3:
- Must have passed Class 12 (10+2 stage) or its equivalent.
- Alternatively, candidates with Matriculation and completed Act Apprenticeship or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) can also apply.
- Level-1:
- Must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent.
- ITI qualification or NAC from NCVT is also acceptable.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 25 years
- Age reckoning date: January 1, 2025
Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection process is based on:
- Sports Achievement Assessment: 50 marks
- Game Skill, Physical Fitness, and Coach’s Observations: 40 marks
- Educational Qualification Assessment: 10 marks
Candidates will receive an e-call letter for trials, which will be available online on the official website.
