Teachers teaching in Delhi Government affiliated colleges did not get their salaries past two months. Observing the same, DUTA said that holding salaries of teachers for such a longer period of nothing but a brutal assault on them.
Teachers even protested again the Chief Minister of Delhi University, Arvind Kejriwal. Rajib Ray is the President of Delhi University Teacher’s Association.
DUTA POINTED OUT ARVIND KEJRIWAL’S PROMISE
He said that Arvind Kejriwal did not fulfil March 2021 promise. The promise was to offer Rs28 crore grant to the varsity. Teachers are facing difficulties due to non-payment of salaries. The festival season is already on the way and teachers are in short of funds.
