On Tuesday, DUSU took a step towards the false result of B.com Final year students. They demanded the varsity to either promote B.com students who had failed in Computer Application or hold it again within a month.

Pawan Tanwar of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College said that “Nobody told us about the minimum marks required for clearing Computer Practical Exam”. He also added that “According to DU Guidelines “Aggregate of 40 marks is required in practical and theory to clear the exam”. Around 300 B.com Students from different colleges of DU accused that they were “misinformed” about passing marks of practical exam.

On this DUSU President Amit Tanwar said that “It is a mistake of administrative, as they don’t give the proper information and misguide the students”. He also added that “DUSU had submitted a memorandum to administrative and if they will fail to implement it then “We will launch a protest”. Vinay Gupta, Dean of Examinations was not available for any further action, while Deputy Dean of Students’ Welfare Gurpreet Tuteja refused to speak.
