Delhi University is all set to hold its 98th convocation ceremony on 26th February 2022. Thus, the venue of the 98th convocation will be the university’s sports stadium complex in New Delhi. This information was provided in a press release notification issued by DU on its official website recently.

This notification was released on 18th January 2022 by the Dean of examination. It simply stated that the 98th convocation program of Delhi University is scheduled for 26th February 2022 from 10 a.m. Also, it mentioned the detailed venue, i.e. the Multipurpose Hall of DU’s Sports Stadium Complex, Delhi – 110007. Lastly, the notice stated that for any further details, updates, or queries people should head to the official website.
The 97th convocation ceremony in 2021 organized by Delhi University was a huge success. The varsity had become the 1st institution in the entire nation that awarded digital degrees to 1,78,719 graduate students. Also, the 97th convocation was held in a hybrid manner, i.e. a combination of online and offline events. But, for the 98th convocation in 2022, the University of Delhi is yet to issue a statement. As per people, online convocation events are most likely to happen.
Also, any updates regarding this year’s convocation will be available on the website – du.ac.in. The University of Delhi is also going to celebrate its 100-year establishment mark in May. So, a fund of 10 crores is allotted for a grand centenary celebration that will continue for one year. Thus, it is likely that all Delhi University’s upcoming events can prove to be a huge success.
