Rajuram Dewasi of Gundau village in Jalore district has topped the DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test) exam. Rajuram had taken Hindi as the subject in which he wants to do his postgraduation from Delhi University. Raju has secured the first position nationwide in The DUET exam. He scored 400 of 400 points in the exam.
Raju said that his father Malaram Dewasi is not financially sound and he has three sisters and two brothers. After the tenth, Raju’s elder brother Paras quit his studies and started working to fix his family’s condition. Paras also started motivating Raju to study. With his inspiration, Raju achieved his success. Raju aspires to be an IAS officer.
From the beginning until now, Raju Dewasi has studied in government institutions only. His initial education was completed from the government school in his village. He did his senior education from a government school in Maukhtara and had secured 80 percent marks in the class X and senior class exams. He has done his bachelor’s degree from the Bhinmal government college, here also, Raju stayed at the top.
Due to a mild dispute in the family, Raju’s sister-in-law had committed suicide by spraying kerosene on herself in 2010. On the charge, Raju’s mother stayed in jail for 14 months. In the year 2016, his mother died. He did not let his spirits break even after such a difficult situation. He continued studying with the inspiration of his brother.
Raju said that he did a bachelor’s degree in geography, Hindi literature, and political science. Hindi results were not coming right for the past few years.
