DUET 2020 (Delhi University Entrance Test) will be conducted between 6 September to 11 September. Merely 12 days are remaining for the entrance examination.

The world is suffering from a global pandemic. Many reputed colleges and universities canceled or postponed their exams’ conduction. All around the world, educational institutions are trying to manage this session, without any entrance exams.

A student wrote on Twitter that DU, from the past many months, constantly treating the students as Lab Rats. The next game they are going to play with our lives is DUET.

One of the most prominent central universities, Delhi University is still adamant for all its decision. Despite a lot of protests by DU teachers, students, and other people, DU still held the examination for final year students. The newly devised “Open Book Exam” had many flaws. The technical issues, feasibility issues, and resources’  issues all happened during OBE. However, the varsity did not admit any of them.

Currently, Delhi University is going to conduct the entrance examination (DUET)  for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

From the last few months, the DU students are in an extreme dilemma. The varsity proved itself, highly insensitive towards its students.  Earlier OBE and now DUET, is hanging over the students’ heads.

Students remained worried, seeking the reluctance of Delhi University to execute DUET amid pandemic.

Students are constantly requesting the authority to postpone the entrance exam, but DU has lost its conscience for students.

DUET 2020- A New game?

Students took Twitter to display their contempt against DUET. The students asserted that they are literally ‘tired’ of DU.

A  student wrote, already they shattered the final years’ and now they are going to do the same. The DUET exam is going to start from 6 September onwards. The students have to come to Delhi because many students filled it as an exam center. But students were uncertain about the situation and they traveled back to their homes.

Adding on this, in almost every state, DU has only 1 exam center. Many Northern State students have decided not to appear for DUET, due to traveling issues.

HCU,  which is also a central University, is providing the option to change the exam center within 2 days’ time. But, Delhi University does not have any such option available.

Dreams of many students to study in the nation’s top university are already demolished. Due to travel issues, students may not appear for it.
