Delhi University on its official website has announced the dates for Delhi University Entrance Test – DUET 2020. Earlier the entrance exams were to begin from 4th September which is rescheduled and will now begin from 6th September. The NTA will conduct DUET 2020 from 6th September to 11th September. Students who have applied for admission to UG/PG/M.Phil/Ph.D. courses through DUET 2020 can now check the latest date sheet on the official website of NTA or Delhi University.
National Testing Agency or NTA will conduct the DUET 2020 exam for admission to UG, PG, M.Phil, and Ph.D. courses. So the exams will be conducted in examination centers across the country in Computer Based Mode.
DUET 2020 will be conducted from 6th September to 11th September 2020 in online computer mode in various exam centers. The DUET entrance exam will be conducted in Amritsar, Delhi, Raipur, Kolkata, Jaipur, Jammu, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Shimla, Guhawati, Srinagar, Dehradun, Mohali, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Srinagar, Guwahati, Varanasi, and Imphal.
The Ministry of Education (earlier called MHRD) had recommended the proposal to MHA for conducting various entrance exams in September for admissions to various Universities. The MHA because of the academic interest of students from across the country agreed to it. Accordingly, in the modification of dates announced earlier and in consultation with respective admitting/ user organizations, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the DUET 2020 from 6th September.

DUET 2020 – Admit Card
The admit card for DUET 2020 will be released 15 days before the exams at the NTA official website. The candidates who registered for the DUET entrance exams will be required to download the admit card from the NTA website. The dates for releasing the admit cards have not been disclosed yet. The candidates will be required to visit their allotted centers as per the admit card. The University has also specified that no candidate will be allowed to appear for the entrance examination at a later date.
Mode of DUET 2020 Examination
The Delhi University Entrance Test will be a LAN based CBT (Computer Based Test). The candidates will be provided two hours to appear for the entrance test. The question paper will comprise of a total of 100 questions which will be multiple choice. The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every right answer. Whereas for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. The examinations will be conducted between 8 AM to 6 PM. Click here to check the details and Delhi University Entrance Exam schedule.
Its good that the entrance is being conducted. But it is unfortunate for those students who cannot travel to exam centres during this lockdown for the test. Thousands of students will be forced to not appear the exam due to this reason.
