Delhi University vice-chancellor (DU VC) Prof. P. C. Joshi and Dr. Vikas Gupta, Registrar, Visited the WUS center on Thursday. Because of increasing COVID-19 cases, they decided to inaugurate the COVID vaccination center. The vaccination center had been opened to provide vaccination facilities for the DU family.
On Monday, 12th April 2021, The University of Delhi had issued Fresh Covid-19 guidelines considering the rising number of cases. Moreover, the guidelines urge all the eligible staff to get themselves vaccinated soon.
Hence, this will be one of the precautionary measures. Also, all the guidelines have to be strictly followed at all times.
Furthermore, Delhi University Officials involved in the admission process have notified that the admissions to colleges in Delhi University are likely to be delayed by a few months due to the second COVID-19 wave seething across the nation.
