The University of Delhi has closed the window for applying for the DU UG special spot round 2 today, 29 December 2022. The candidates who have been chosen for spot allocation second round were eligible to apply for this special round through the official website i.e., admission.uod.ac.in.
Further, the university released the list of vacant seats against the second special spot admission round on Wednesday, 28 December. And, the students got time for applying from 28 to 29 December 2022.
The candidates are not allowed to withdraw or upgrade their admission after accepting the seats. Moreover, it is necessary for allocated candidates to accept the seat in DU UG special spot round 2. Otherwise, candidates will forfeit their eligibility to take admission to Delhi University.

Delhi University will release the special spot admission round 2 allocation list on 30 December 2022 at 10 AM. Thereafter, shortlisted candidates can accept the seat on the 30 from 10 AM to 11:59 PM. Colleges can verify and approve the admission from 30 to 1 PM of 31 December.
Furthermore, the last date to make the fee payment against the special spot round 2 is 31 December 2022 till 11:59 PM. Besides, till now 65,000 undergraduate seats have been filled at Delhi University.
According to official reports, 5,000 seats are still vacant in UG courses or programs. Also, this special round will be the last round for the academic session 2022-23. The admissions for both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions will end by 31 December.
DU Registrar Vikas Gupta said that candidates who were shortlisted in any spot admission rounds are not eligible for the last spot round. In other words, the previously allocated students can’t participate in special spot round 2.
