DU UG First Merit List 2023: University of Delhi has released its first allotment list today, 1 August 2023. Therefore, concerned candidates can check the list on the university’s official website.

According to the university statement, 7,042 candidates got their preferences first. Whereas a total of 22,000 candidates got seats from their first five preferences.

Moreover, in this round, 85,853 candidates were shortlisted for allocations. Over 2 lakh candidates were considered for the first allocation round for UG admission. This year, DU is offering a total of 71,000 undergraduate seats in 68 affiliated colleges.

DU UG First Merit List 2023: Last Date to Accept is 4 Aug

Now, allotted candidates have to accept the seat to secure their admission to Delhi University. So, the university has given the time till 4 August (4:59 pm) to accept the seat. Candidates can do so on the official Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

 

Thereafter, the respective college will approve the candidate’s application. And, candidates need to pay their admission fee by 6 August 2023. In case candidates can’t do this as per the allotted period, their admission will get cancelled. 

DU UG Second Allotment List on 10

After the completion of the first round of seat allocation, the university will begin the second round. The second CSAS list will be announced on 10 August. Similar to the first round, candidates who will get a seat in the second round will get time to accept the seat and to pay the fee.

How to check DU UG First Merit List

  • Firstly, head to the DU official website i.e., du.ac.in
  • Then, click on the CSAS admission portal; ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
  • Now, enter your CUET application number and password
  • The first allocation list for UG will get displayed
  • Download this and keep a copy of it for future reference
