The DU UG admission window reopens for the 2025 academic session. Delhi University has resumed the undergraduate admission process under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) for 2025. Both Phase I and Phase II of the application are now open. Students must apply before 11:59 pm on July 14.
Candidates who have already completed Phase I must now fill out their college and course preferences. This must be done through the official portal, ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Preferences must be submitted carefully. Once the deadline ends, the choices will be locked automatically.
Those who have not yet registered can also apply. As the DU UG admission window reopens, the university allows fresh applications along with preference submissions. Students must ensure accuracy while filling out the form, as changes cannot be made later.
A one-time correction window has been announced for students who have already submitted Phase I. This correction window is available until 11:59 pm on July 11. Students can edit their details once and submit the final form. After submission, the form cannot be reopened.
Simulated ranks will be declared at 5 pm on July 15. This allows candidates to see a preview of their possible position in the list. A short preference-change window will be open till 11:59 pm on July 16. This is the final opportunity to adjust preferences.
The first CSAS allocation list will be published on July 19 at 5 pm. Students must accept the allotted seat by 4:59 pm on July 21. Colleges will verify and approve the applications by July 22. The last date for fee payment in the first round is July 23.
Vacant seats will be shown on July 24. Candidates can reorder their preferences until July 25. The second CSAS allocation list will be released at 5 pm on July 28. Students must accept their seats by 4:59 pm on July 30. College approval will follow by July 31. The last date to pay the admission fee in this round is August 1.
The DU UG admission window reopens to accommodate more applicants. The university has also introduced changes in the subject combination rules. Students can now qualify with either one language and three subjects, or two languages and two subjects. The combination with the best CUET score will be used. This increases flexibility in the admission process.
Additionally, the university has removed the minimum 30% mark requirement in the CUET language paper for BSc (Honours) courses. This step helps include more students from varied academic backgrounds.
A new auto-accept feature has also been launched. This ensures that students do not lose their seats because of delays in confirming acceptance. Once a seat is allotted, it can be automatically accepted by the system if the student does not act in time.
The DU UG admission window reopens after receiving a record number of CUET-UG applications. For 2025, over 13.5 lakh students registered. The most preferred subject was English with 8.14 lakh applications, followed by the General Test with 6.59 lakh, and Chemistry with 5.7 lakh.
The university is offering 71,624 seats across 79 undergraduate courses in 69 colleges this year. The academic session will begin on August 1. Students are advised to visit the admission.uod.ac.in regularly for updates.
