DU UG admission portal: Several students were waiting for the opening of the admission portal. So, Delhi University has come with the good news that it will launch the DU registration portal on Monday, 12 September 2022. As a result, students can check the portal the day after tomorrow to fill in the course choices.

Delhi University admission registration portal for undergraduate students will allow students to fill in their combination of subjects and colleges. Moreover, for this academic session, 63 DU colleges are offering around 70,000 seats. Most importantly, this year admissions are being conducted on the basis of CUET scores.

CUET UG result may announce on 15 September 

As it is mentioned above that this year’s admission is going on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test. And, the exam has been conducted, now the students are waiting for the result. As per the reports, 15 September 2022 is the expected date for the result. 

Besides, the University of Delhi will hold a press meeting on 12 Sept for informing the students regarding the admission process. But the candidate should note that there is no information about St. Stephen’s College. Because of the clashes between the viewpoints of college and university. Also, the case is pending in the High court. 

Students have to follow CSAS

Now, what is CSAS? Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will allow the DU aspirants to fill in the combination of subject preferences and colleges in the form. In the application form, students will make their choice of subject/course/program as well as of colleges.

As soon as aspirants submit their preferences on the DU UG admission portal,  the CUET merit list will decide the allocations of seats. In other words, the seats will be provided based on these combinations. The DU statutory body advised that aspirants should choose as much as colleges and programs on the CSAS. Later, the colleges will start the verification and admission process. 

Sports and ECA quotas admission based on trial

The aspirants can apply for a maximum of three sports or games. Under the sports quota the selection will be done as follow:

  • 25 % for CUET
  • 25℅ for certificates
  • 50% for physical trials

On the other hand, under the ECA quota admission process is as follows:

  • 25% for CUET
  • 15% for certificates
  • 60% for trials
