Admissions are going on in the undergraduate courses of Delhi University. After three cut-offs, DU has released the special cut-off. From the very first cut-off itself, the admission process has remained at the center of discussion. For the first time in the history of DU, eight colleges simultaneously released the 100% cut-off for ten courses. Teachers’ organizations are also constantly raising issues related to the difficulties faced by the students in admission. In the midst of all this, DU is considering increasing the number of evening colleges.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh said that no decision has been taken on this yet. Next year there will be brainstorming on this topic. If DU increases the number of evening colleges, then obviously the seats will increase. This will be especially beneficial for those students who want to study in DU colleges but are unable to take admission due to a lack of seats. That is, next year DU can give big relief to the students.
