The DU admission procedure for postgraduate programmes is being started at the University of Delhi from 18th November. The Delhi University administration has concluded to give relief to such students whose UG results are not yet released. As per the reports, such students can apply to postgraduate courses even when their results are not yet out.

Giving an official message, the University of Delhi administration stated that the students whose undergraduate results are not yet released will face no problem in seeking admission to postgraduate courses. Such students are required to complete the necessary formalities by visiting DU’s official website. All such students will be given provisional admission and their seats will be kept vacant until their results are released.

University of Delhi administration has released a notice regarding PG admission. As per the notice, the admissions will be conducted for 54 postgraduate courses. It covers subjects like MSc, Philosophy, English, Economics, Journalism, and Biology. These admissions in post-graduation courses will be given based on the entrance test.

DU PG ADMISSION: UPLOAD MARK SHEETS BY NOVEMBER 16

The National Testing Agency will be examining admission to these 54 PG courses. Merit-based and entrance based admission for post-graduation courses for the academic year 2020-21 in DU will be finished by December this year. After the completion of the procedure in December, classes for the new session will begin. The first merit list for PG admission in DU will be released this week.

Students seeking admission can apply for DU to their preferred courses based on the first merit list from 18th November to 20th November. It is uncertain whether the colleges will reopen after the admission or not. If the colleges will reopen for the first year, then the process of hostel allotment will consume a lot of time.

Delhi University’s Professor Hansraj said that Delhi Teachers Association(DTA) has expressed concern over no clarification on hostel policy being received from Delhi University. The Teachers Association has mandated the University administration to issue a circular soon in this concern to DU colleges.
